Description
A monthly hour where coaches learn how to collaborate with AI — not surrender to it — and cultivate a humans + AI frame of mind that includes possibilities, keeps our judgment in charge, and helps our clients navigate how they are flourishing with this new technology. AI in general, not one product or kind. Not hype. Not fear. Not a tools class. For any coach, any level — including the coach who doesn’t love AI and isn’t sure they should.
Takeaways:
1) Explain how AI works in plain language: what it is, what kinds exist (not only chatbots), where it’s reliable, and where it isn’t.
2) Use AI in their own coaching practice in ways that support their presence, judgment, and ethics instead of replacing them.
3) Support clients who are working with AI, helping them think clearly about how AI is changing their work, their decisions, and how they see themselves.
4) Recognize and handle the risks, including privacy, bias, over-reliance, and questions about confidentiality under the ICF Code of Ethics.
5) Keep learning as AI changes, with a group of fellow coaches to test ideas with and a habit of trying things together and reflecting on them.
EVERY SESSION:
Arrive (5 min) → The idea, one thing worth understanding about AI this month (10 min) → Try it in trios, one shared screen (25 min) → Harvest (10 min) → One takeaway + 60-second survey (10 min). Roles rotate: Typist (shares their own AI, any tool), Client (brings a real, anonymized scenario), Observer (hands off the keyboard and holds two questions: what did the AI say that we’d have swallowed alone? and did this add to us or deplete us?). Rule every month: anonymize before you type.
SESSION 1 — Nov 10, 2026 — What do you want AI for?
The problem: Everyone starts with the tool. Almost no one starts with their values.
Try it: Each coach writes three sentences: what I value, what I’d never hand to AI, what I might be willing to hand over. The trio asks an AI to help with the third and to push back on it. The Client decides: take the pushback or overrule it, and says why.
About Kathryn Snyder
Kathryn Snyder, PCC, CPCC, is a Third Culture Kid: born in Japan, raised in Germany by Midwesterners. She spent 20+ years in corporate America in systems and network engineering and people leadership, and is trained in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching. Endlessly curious about what makes people tick, she believes no two humans experience the world the same way, that aliveness is the map, and that regeneration, in people and organizations, is the only sustainable strategy. About Nicole Mollet
Nicki Mollet, M.Ed., grew up on the plains of South Dakota, the second of five in a farming family. At 18, she was teaching English in rural Panama; she then spent eleven years in Santiago, Chile, rising from teacher to Campus Director and earning an M.Ed. in Imaginative Education. When that life ended suddenly, she rebuilt and became a professional coach. Her methodology is relational and physical, grounded in twenty years across five countries and the belief that belonging comes first. Website
