About Susan Metros

Susan E. Metros offers over thirty years of experience as an educator, having held tenured professorships in visual design and communication and twenty years of higher education experience as an information and educational technology executive and academic leader. She has served in many roles in higher education, including Professor, Director, Assistant Vice President, Deputy CIO, Interim CIO, Associate Dean, and Associate Vice Provost. She is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

Susan coaches and mentors executives and professionals on a variety of topics, including leadership presence, management skills, team building, work transition, and career growth. She was awarded the University of Southern California Mellon Award for Mentoring and the EDUCAUSE Leadership Award. She has a deep, heartfelt interest in motivating and inspiring others to discover and maximize their potential and employs creative problem-solving and design thinking methodologies to guide her clients to recognize and reimagine what constitutes a fulfilling life- both professionally and personally.

Before launching her own coaching company, NovaQuest Coaching, Laila served as the Digital Health Practice Leader at Fleming Martin Executive Search. Prior to that, she spent 9 years leading sales training efforts for Johnson & Johnson Vision. As a key member of J&J’s elite training team, Laila advised business leaders in numerous functions.
