SUMMARY:Coaching Supervision Group SIG - February 2023
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW! \nTopic: Coaching Supervision Group SIG \nHosts: Paul Sanbar\, PCC\, ESIA* / Courtney Birch Webster\, PCC\, CPCC \nCCEs: 1.0 Core Competencies / 0.5 Resource Development \nDate: Wednesday\, February 8\, 2023 \nTime: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Pacific Time \nLocation: Virtual meeting via Zoom.us / Your link to join the conference will be sent after you register. Remember to login before registering for the event. \n  \n\nDescription \nSupervision is a non-judgmental partnership in which the coach brings his/her work to a supervisor to explore challenges\, ethical dilemmas\, emotional responses\, and how the personal may intrude into the professional.  The supervisor does not evaluate or judge but holds a reflective space for learning and connection for the group.  \nICF research has identified key benefits for coaches who receive Coaching Supervision\, which include: \n\nIncreased self-awareness\nGreater confidence\nIncreased objectivity\nHeightened sense of belonging\nReduced feelings of isolation\nIncreased resourcefulness\n\nTwo Groups\, One Date and Time \nWhether you are a newer coach or an experienced one\, you will find a resonant space for you and your peers to gather and reflect.  Both facilitators and all attendees will all meet together on Zoom to center ourselves\,  and then we will separate into two groups based upon experience.  \n\nPaul Sanbar will lead the veteran coaches group\nCourtney Birch Webster will facilitate the group for coaches with fewer than 750 hours of coaching.  \n\nFor both groups\, we request that you take a moment of reflection prior to joining to ensure you bring into the session an active client case (or recently active) to discuss. That said\, if you’ve never experienced coaching supervision or you aren’t sure if your case is a good one\, come anyway to learn and grow. \n\n  \n\nAbout Paul Sanbar\, PCC\, ESIA* \nPaul’s life and career have been dedicated to the field of self-development and to effecting positive change through storytelling and conversations\, initially as a psychotherapist and now as a Professional Certified Coach [PCC] accredited by the International Coaching Federation. *His European Supervision Individual Accreditation [ESIA] with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council is pending.   \nWith his clinical understanding of group dynamics from over a decade of experience facilitating groups both in-person and online\, Paul uses purposeful play and a passion for psychological safety to create reflective spaces that elicit generative outcomes. In addition to his private coaching supervision practice\, he offers a monthly\, hands-on reflection-on-action online meet-up for coaches\, and coaching supervision groups for Hawthorne Union\, a continuing education company. He is also a contracted coaching supervisor for AceUp\, a systemic coaching company\, and a triad facilitator for the Goldvarg Consulting Group Coaching Supervision certification.   \n  \nAbout Courtney Birch Webster\, PCC\, CPCC \nWith over 14 years of coaching experience\, Courtney is committed to a results-oriented approach that is driven by a belief that success comes from a bold action plan using measurable goals to generate extraordinary results in lives\, careers and business. She delights in working with clients to increase their effectiveness\, productivity\, engagement\, impact and joy by focusing on and leveraging their unique strengths and genuine brilliance\, and does so with humor\, compassion\, and a laser focus on transformation. \nHaving served on the ICFLA board for seven years\, including as President in 2016\, Courtney is thrilled to be back in service with this offering to the community. A fortunate recipient of coaching “Super-Vision” for the last seven years\, she will be a Certified Coaching Supervisor by the Goldvarg Consulting Group as of Spring 2022. Clients remark on both the safe space Courtney creates and the heart and compassion she brings to each session. She looks forward to bringing that to the reflective space of “Super-Vision”…and you can count on having some fun\, too. \n
