SUMMARY:Credentialing SIG - February 2023
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW!\n \nTopic: Credentialing SIG \nHost: Carly Anderson\, MCC \nCCEs: 1.0 Core Competencies / 0.5 Resource Development\n \nDate: Thursday\, February 2\, 2023 \nTime: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM Pacific Time \nLocation: Virtual meeting via Zoom.us / Your link to join the conference will be sent after you register. Remember to login before registering for the event. \n  \n\nDescription \n\nThe February 2023 SIG will also feature Core Competency #1. Ethics; discussion about the ICF Credentialing Exam\, and exploration of the sample questions from the ICF global website. \nICF provides a path of development for professional coaches who want to differentiate themselves from anyone who calls themselves a coach. The credentialing path supports coaches to develop from beginning level (ACC) to intermediate level (PCC)\, to advanced coaching skill level (MCC). \nIf you are interested in what it takes to become credentialed at ACC\, PCC\, or MCC level this group is for you! If you are a mentor coach who wants to engage in dialogue about competency distinctions to support your development as a mentor coach\, you are also welcome! \nLed by Carly Anderson\, MCC\, this group will address: \n\nWhy pursue ACC\, PCC\, or MCC credentials?\nWhat is the difference between ACC\, PCC and MCC skill level?\nWhat questions do you have about becoming an ICF credentialed coach?\n\nEach meeting will also highlight one or more of the ICF Core Competencies and what distinctions ICF Assessors want to hear in your coaching at each skill level. \nCarly is an active ICF Assessor since 2005 for ACC\, PCC and MCC applicant coaching session recordings (which ICF calls Performance Evaluations). She has led and supported ICF PCC and MCC Assessor community training and participated in the pilots of upcoming changes to ICF credentialing exam (previously called the Coach Knowledge Assessment)\, as well as ACC and MCC assessing criteria. Carly also participated as the core team of coaches who updated the PCC Markers in 2020 to align with the updated ICF Core Competencies. \n\nYou are welcome with your questions\, your curiosity and your learning mindset!\n  \nAbout Carly Anderson \nA passionate advocate for professionalism in coaching\, Carly has been a trained coach since 1998\, and continuously ICF credentialed (PCC then MCC) since 2001. Carly believes in continuous evolution of herself as a person and upgrading of coaching skills to be current\, and the best she can be for her coaching clients. Originally from Australia\, Carly has lived in Laguna Hills\, California since 2002 and been a longer term member of ICFLA and a continuous member of ICF Global since 1999. \nCarly has coached extensively within mid and larger organizations. Currently\, her passion lies in coaching conscious humans who want to continue to evolve\, in order to best serve their business or communities of choice. Or those with an open mind willing to be reflective. \nCarly leads a robust ICF approved Mentor Coaching Program and has personally mentored many hundreds of coaches in preparation to apply for their ACC or PCC credential. As well as mentored at least 158 coaches (and counting) who have passed their MCC credential application. \n  \n \n
