This special DEI Event is part of the DEI SIG for 2023 to help foster a greater understanding diversity and the needs of certain groups of individuals in our community. Designed for you to learn about a particular diversity dimension with more depth and clarity to develop greater understanding of perspective and needs of potential clients.
How do we as coaches continue to be more inclusive and ensure that we are well equipped to address the needs of our clients. Are we all equipped to coach black leaders? What can we learn from these three black coaches to further enhance our own practice and further the coaching profession?
About Stace Middlebrooks M.A., PCCC, CBC
Stace Middlebrooks, M.A., PCCC, CBC, is a BetterUp Fellow Coach, and The Chief Empowerment Officer of Purpose Powered Coaching + Consulting, a company focuses on helping women of color live and lead with purpose and power and helping organizations create inclusive environments where all talent can thrive. Stacè is an executive coach and consultant with a Master of Arts in Sociology (Ethnic Relations) and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Performance Psychology. She brings over 20 years of corporate experience in inclusion and diversity, human resources, and sales to her coaching delivery.

About Cathrine James, ACC
Cathrine James is the founder of Cathrine James Enterprises LLC, DBA Sensational Living Training and Development, a trauma informed personal and professional coaching organization. She is a prolific and dynamic international Speaker, Coach and Trainer. Cathrine helps women and organizations identify obstacles and develop courses of action to enhance self, leadership, communication and revenue. She is committed to helping women business owners and executives fall back in love with their careers and their lives by using scientifically proven techniques to identify and release trauma responses from the brain and body.
During her 30 plus years in the corporate sector, Cathrine filled various management roles for fortune 500 companies. She has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a B.S. in Business Administration.
