He leverages evidence-based methodologies including the Intercultural Development Continuum, Hogan Personality Assessments, CCL’s 360 Feedback Assessment, and mindfulness practices to foster greater self-awareness and facilitate change.
About Peter Gandolfo, PCC
Peter Gandolfo is a PCC-certified executive coach. He helps leaders become more effective by building on their natural strengths. He trained with the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara, California. Coaching combines his 20+ years of professional experience in marketing, management, and consulting with his love for helping others find their path.
He’s had the privilege of coaching leaders at startups and Fortune 500 companies in consumer packaged goods, entertainment, tech, healthcare, real estate, management consulting, marketing services, higher education, and more. Many of his engagements focus on identifying what’s needed (and no longer needed) to reach future goals; developing communication skills, especially in giving/receiving feedback and navigating high-stakes conversations; and identifying competing beliefs that prevent clients from following through on changes they genuinely want.
Peter’s life experience informs much of his coaching work. Straight out of college, he enrolled in medical school. Three weeks in, he realized he’d spent so much time proving to himself that he could get into medical school, he’d never considered whether he wanted to be a physician! Since then, he’s always taken time to find and follow his inner “true north” when making career and life decisions, a process that’s especially important now that he’s a husband and the father of two sons.
Before dedicating his career to coaching, he worked at the Drucker Institute, a social enterprise grounded in the management principles of Peter Drucker. He spent nine years in brand management and international marketing at Mattel. Earlier work experience included product marketing for Ford Motor Company and advertising account management at FCB. He holds an M.B.A. with concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from UCLA Anderson and a B.A. in Psychology and Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame. He’s certified in the Hogan Assessment, and StandOut, a strengths-based assessment.
