Description
Following an enlightening and powerful session on “Coaching Blind Spots” with Alison Whitmire, we will continue to build and refine our access to emotions in order to illuminate our biases, assumptions, and lenses – all a part of self-awareness and what we bring to our coaching sessions that may either hinder our work or be of service to our clients. This interactive, guided and reflective workshop will take us through coaching scenarios, role play opportunities, and exercises to help us personally look at how our views can either stall our coaching when used without awareness, or can make our coaching more powerful when used with purpose. By offering our lenses to coaching clients, we allow them to have a different view and choice to decide what brings clarity to their path forward. This workshop will help you identify the lenses you may apply unconsciously in order to bring conscious choice and greater power to your own coaching.

About Desiree Briel Rodi, ACC
Desiree Briel Rodi is an ACC certified coach who harnesses the power of Emotional Intelligence to drive awareness, action, and accountability. She has worked in higher education administration, non-profit management, and people & business strategy. Desiree holds a B.A. in Art and in American Studies from Yale University, an MBA from Seattle University where she has assisted with graduate leadership courses, and a Certificate in Evidence-Based Coaching and MA in Organizational Development and Change from Fielding Graduate University where she is now pursuing a Ph.D.
About Kathy Hadizadeh, PCC
Kathy Hadizadeh is a former tech executive and an ICF Professional Certified Leadership and Executive Coach (PCC). Building on two Masters in Systems Engineering and Information Management and 15 years in corporate global leadership roles, Kathy supports corporate leaders in their integral development and corporations in growing a culture of mindfulness and mindful leadership through Heart-Mind Tuning Corporation. Kathy is also a UCLA Trained Mindfulness Educator and a SIYLI Certified Neuroscience based Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence consultant.
