Over several years, an investment in emotional intelligence (EI) competency development via executive coaching, led to greater leadership capacity and team effectiveness for Senior Leaders, at a critical time of rapid change in the organization’s history. As the primary leadership development choice, executive coaching supported EI skills growth as leaders sponsored and executed changes in the organization’s purpose, vision, mission, values, and experienced significant organization growth and changes in structure, talent, and roles that facilitated essential shifts in service delivery to patients.
During a time of continuous change and rapid industry shifts, including an adaptive response to Covid-19, senior leaders in this organization continue to work on individual and team-level behavior changes using EI practices.

About Desiree Briel Rodi, ACC
Desiree Briel Rodi is an ACC certified coach who harnesses the power of Emotional Intelligence to drive awareness, action, and accountability. She has worked in higher education administration, non-profit management, and people & business strategy. Desiree holds a B.A. in Art and in American Studies from Yale University, an MBA from Seattle University where she has assisted with graduate leadership courses, and a Certificate in Evidence Based Coaching and MA in Organizational Development and Change from Fielding Graduate University where she is now pursuing a Ph.D.
About Kathy Hadizadeh, PCC
Kathy Hadizadeh is a former tech executive and an ICF Professional Certified Leadership and Executive Coach (PCC). Building on two Masters in Systems Engineering and Information Management and 15 years in corporate global leadership roles, Kathy supports corporate leaders in their integral development and corporations in growing a culture of mindfulness and mindful leadership through Heart Mind Tuning Corporation. Kathy is also a UCLA Trained Mindfulness Educator and a SIYLI Certified Neuroscience based Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence consultant.
About Anne Reeve, PCC
Anne Reeve is a PCC certified coach who works with senior leaders and their teams to develop Emotional Intelligence capabilities, and to become more aware of human beings, as they improve their effectiveness for business and organization success. Anne holds a MA in Organization and Leadership Development (2003), and an Evidence-Based Coaching certificate, from the Fielding Graduate University (2009). She has worked as a business leader, executive coach, and leadership consultant in multiple industries for the past few decades. Anne finds great joy in supporting leaders, as human beings first, to lead with greater emotional maturity and heart. Originally from Sydney, Australia, she has four grown children and lives in Issaquah WA with her husband Ralph and their favorite pup Belle.
