If this is the key to well-being\, why do some people still not feel like they are at their best even when they are acting out of their values? Why is something still missing? Where is the life satisfaction\, they have been striving for all their life? \nDr. Senka Holzer in her book Be You: The Science of Becoming the Self You Were Born to Be defines two types of values: Core values and Acquired values. These two types of values differ in their ability to produce life satisfaction. \nWe will discuss the two types of values\, how and why they differ in their ability to produce life satisfaction and give you a few coaching questions you can use to help clients align with both types of values in a way that will produce lasting satisfaction and well-being. \nTakeaways include: \n\nUnderstand the difference between core and acquired values.\nLearn the connection of needs\, values\, and behaviors.\nObserve exercises and questions you can apply in your coaching practice to help your clients apply their values for better life satisfaction.\n\n  \nAbout Heidi Glunz\, PCC \nHeidi Glunz\, PCC\, is the managing partner of Science2Wellbeing\, the lead instructor/instructional designer for the Values2Wellbeing Coaching Program\, an award-winning\, evidence based\, advanced coaching program\, developed by high-profile scientists and coaches to increase life satisfaction and reduce detrimental stress through life-values alignment. \nWebsite \nLinkedIn \nFacebook
