Description
Universities across the globe are now offering courses and degrees in The Science of Happiness. When Happiness 101 was first offered at Harvard in 2004, it became the most popular course ever offered. Since 2014, More than 550,000 students at UC Berkeley have registered for a course on Happiness through their Greater Good Science Center.
It’s easy to understand the draw of the promise of happiness. Don’t we all want to have greater happiness in our lives? As coaches, no matter what brings a client to work with us, isn’t the achievement of greater happiness something that is hoped for in the end? What about cultural differences around what makes a life “happy”? Is there such a thing as an “aversion to happiness”?
Attending this program will provide you with a happiness coaching framework, including methods and tools to shift your clients from struggling to find happiness, to recognizing happiness on their own terms.
Upon conclusion of this program, you will be able to support your clients to:
-
Explore happiness through their unique lens – including their cultural perspective and their own foundational belief systems
-
Investigate and take a deep dive into their personal experience of what it means to be happy or unhappy in their lives, their work, and their relationships and how their idea of happiness may differ from others
-
Access their seven pillars of happiness to cultivate greater happiness in their lives
I hope you’ll join us and receive your coach’s “happiness toolkit. By attending, you’ll become more adept at shifting your clients to a higher level of personal and LASTING happiness. In the process, you may even ramp up your own happiness meter. What could be better?
