Join ICFLA for our Holiday Chapter Meeting! During this reflective and celebratory event, we will time travel with our past, present, and future Presidents (no Scrooge!) as we share where we were as an organization, where we are today, and where we want to go in the future. Participate in some nostalgia with our past Presidents, celebrate our current Board, and welcome our incoming Board.
Neuroscience validates the connection between the mind and the body and the importance of including the whole body approach to healing. Our December 11th Cafe topic will continue a conversation on Pamela McLean’s book, Self as Coach, Self as Leader. We will dive into the Self As Coach model’s 2nd dimension: Empathy and hold up the mirror to our own feelings, asking ourselves questions such as: Can we have too much empathy? -and- How do we best use it to support our clients? No need to have read the book or even don your own footwear… we’ll spend the hour walking in someone else’s shoes.
